The only downside is that only users can submit new hosting services to list on the directory, so admins cannot actually add new listings from the backend. They can do so by creating a simple user account, submitting the scripts themselves for start and approving them in the backend themselves.
Once submitted, the listings can easily be modified and categorized in the backend.
